East Hawthorn House

The hydronic heating was part of a full internal renovation and extension carried out by Pop Builders.  After consultation with the builder and client on the desired look of the property considering the different styles between the original property and the extension it was decided that the majority of the panels would be traditional sectional cast iron radiators finished in matt black to complement the traditional areas of the home and add contrast and create continuity of style in the modern extension.

The hydronic heating system was split into 2 zones; zone 1 being the existing original house and zone 2 the new extension at the rear, a 2 zone partage was fitted under the boiler.  Dual fuel Iconic towel rails were installed in the bathrooms allowing the ability to use the towel rails independently to the main heating system providing heat and the convenience of drying damp towels in the warmer periods without having to run the entire heating system.
